Vinificação: Vinho do Porto Vintage fresco e elegante de muito boa qualidade. Um Porto Vintage clássico para guardar na cave durante muitos anos. Durante os primeiros seis meses o jovem porto passou os meses de inverno na Quinta da Gricha em Oak Oaks. Segue-se depois para as caves de Vila Nova de Gaia onde é armazenado num depósito de inox até ser engarrafado.

Notas de prova: Tem um buquê comparativamente leve, tingido de anis com flor de laranjeira que flutua sedutoramente do copo. Na boca é medianamente encorpado com taninos macios e maduros e uma acidez muito bem ponderada que confere grande precisão a este jovem Churchill. Este é um Porto Vintage muito harmonioso com um belo toque de alcaçuz salgado no final.

Conselhos de armazenar e servir: Deve ser servido à temperatura ambiente 16ºC a 18ºC.

Emparelhamento com comida: Aprecie sozinho após o almoço ou jantar.

 2011 Vintage Port Churchill’s 75cl

Winemaking: Fresh and elegant Vintage Port Wine of very fine quality. A classic Vintage Port to put away in the cellar for many years. During the firs six months the young port spent the winter months at Quinta da Gricha in Oak Vats. Then it is brought down to the lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia where it is stored in a stainless steel tank until being bottled.
Grape Varieties: Old Vines

Tasting Notes: It has a comparatively light, aniseed-tinged bouquet with orange blossom that wafts seductively from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannins and very well-judged acidity that lends this young Churchill’s great precision. This is a very harmonious Vintage Port with a lovely touch of salted liquorice towards the finish.

Store and Serve Advices: Should be served at room temperature 16ºC to 18ºC.

Food Pairing: Appreciate on its own after lunch or dinner.
