Vinificação: As uvas são pisadas a pé em cochos. A fermentação dura de quatro a cinco dias, produzindo uma excelente extração.

Notas de prova: A cor sólida deste vintage nos permite considerá-lo clássico e jovem. Tem uma intensidade surpreendente com uma cor vermelho-cereja soberba e ligeiramente evoluída. Um nariz notoriamente intenso, vivo e enérgico que lhe confere uma qualidade masculina. Aromas de frutas vermelhas e de groselha vermelha, cereja e ameixa preservam emanam de uma estrutura sólida. Um ataque forte e sólido. Na boca é enérgico e fresco, com um sabor frutado e uma boa base ácida. Excelente integridade. Taninos firmes e elegantes e uma longa vida à frente. Um acabamento poderoso e aveludado.

Conselhos de armazenar e servir: Deve ser aberto duas horas antes de servir e decantado. Servir entre 17º e 18º C. Armazene o frasco de lado, em local fresco, seco e escuro.

Emparelhamento com comida: Servido após o jantar, combina bem com queijos da região da Serra da Estrela, em Portugal, Stilton, Gorgonzola e outros queijos integrais. Um acompanhamento ideal para um charuto forte.

Winemaking: The grapes are trodden by foot in troughs. Fermentation lasts four to five days, producing an excellent extraction.

Tasting Notes: The solid colour of this Vintage allows us to consider it to be both classic and young. It has a startling intensity with a superb and slightly evolved cherry-red colour. A notoriously intense, lively and energetic nose that gives it a masculine quality. Aromas of red fruits and of red gooseberry, cherry and plum preserves emanate from a solid structure. A strong, solid attack. Energetic and fresh on the palate with a fruity flavour and a good acidic base. Excellent integrity. Firm, elegant tannins and a long life ahead of it. A powerful and velvety finish.

Store and Serve Advices: Should be opened two hours before serving and decanted. Serve between 17º and 18º C. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dry and dark place.

Food Pairing: Served after dinner, it pairs well with cheeses from the Serra da Estrela region of Portugal, Stilton, Gorgonzola and other full-fat cheeses. An ideal accompaniment to a strong cigar.
