O Dows 1962 é um Porto Vintage muito raro. As garrafas foram registradas no instituto, mas nunca declaradas. Vermelho alaranjado mais profundo em comparação com o de 1960. Nariz fino de fruta doce apimentada com alguns tons balsâmicos, bolo de mel, sopa de carne e especiarias indianas. O fino e elegante início do paladar é suave, refinado e enche a boca. Um porto vintage bem equilibrado com comprimento médio. Tudo lá em um estilo mais acessível. Um vinho do Porto vintage muito bom que estava fadado a ser esquecido quando os fortes clássicos de 1963 envelheceram na adega. Provado pela última vez em julho de 2017. The Dows 1962 is a very rare Vintage Port. The bottles were registered at the institute but never declared. Deeper orange red compared to the 1960. Fine nose of peppery sweet fruit with some balsamic tones, honey cake, beef soup and Indian spices. The fine elegant start of taste is smooth, refined and mouth filling. A well balanced vintage port with medium length. All there in a more approachable style. A very nice vintage port which was just bound to be forgotten once the strong classic 1963’s were ageing in the cellar. Last tasted July 2017. (Christies Tasting Note)
