Quinta Vale D. Maria Reserva Porto Lote N. º 16, o único vinho desta categoria de uma só colheita, como refere Cristiano Van Zeller: “Sempre tivemos, na Quinta Vale D. Maria, vinhos do Porto jovens de altíssima qualidade que por muito pouco falham a designação de Porto Vintage. Por isso, decidi engarrafá-los, entre os 18 e os 24 meses de idade, como um Porto de uma única colheita, sem refinamento e sem filtragem, exactamente como fazemos nos Portos Vintage. Chamei a este Porto jovem de altíssima qualidade, muito fresco, muito frutado e com um corpo suave e intenso, de Porto Reserva mas acrescentei-lhe, com grande descrição, o ano da colheita, colocando no rótulo, um pequeno “selo” indicando o número do ano de colheita”. Este porto é um “blend” de mais de 25 castas tradicionais do Douro procedentes das vinhas velhas e de plantações mais novas da Quinta Vale D. Maria. É um vinho do Porto com grande estrutura e intensamente frutado, com taninos suaves e maduros. Foi concebido para envelhecer em garrafa durante muitos anos.

Aroma profundo, mas já muito pronto e aprazível, fruto negro, chocolate, canela, muito acessível no nariz. Mantém o perfil na boca, tanino gordo e redondo, muito sabor, generoso e muito limpo, termina longo e capitoso. Muito bem.NV Porto Quinta do Vale D. Maria Reserva Lote 16 75cl

Aroma deep, but already very ready and pleasant, black fruit, chocolate, cinnamon, very accessible in the nose. It maintains the profile in the mouth, fat and round tannin, much flavor, generous and very clean, ends long and capitoso. Very well.
