O Bual de 1920 é um dos vinhos mais emblemáticos da família. Pensar que esse vinho foi produzido diante de tantas adversidades é um verdadeiro tributo aos homens e mulheres que trabalhavam, nessa época, na ilha.

Ao longo dos anos, foram lançados nos mercados diferentes engarrafamentos do 1920 e todos eles foram únicos e exclusivos por si só – cada um dos engarrafamentos evoluiu naturalmente, pelo calor, pela humidade, pelo tamanho do barril e pela sua localização dentro da nossa Adega, no centro do Funchal.

NOTAS DE PROVA
Cor mogno escuro claro e brilhante com uma nuance dourada e reflexos esverdeados.
No nariz é complexo e muito característico, é fino, intenso, revela um bouquet de fruta seca, especiarias exóticas, baunilha, notas fumadas misturadas com óleo de cedro e bálsamos.
No paladar é muito concentrado e poderoso, meio doce, muito equilibrado e suave, as suas folhas têm um travo muito longo com notas de tabaco, madeiras exóticas, óleo de cedro e cera.

The 1920 Bual is one of the most emblematic wines of the family. Men and women thought that this wine was produced out of so much adversity at the time, which is true.

Over the years, different bottlings from 1920 were launched in the markets and all of them were unique and exclusive in their own right – each of the bottlings evolved, by the heat, by the skins, by the size of the barrel and its location inside our Cellar, in the center of the Funchal.

Taste:
Light and shiny dark mahogany color with a golden nuance and greenish reflections.
On the nose it is complex and very characteristic, it is fine, intense, reveals a bouquet of dried fruit, exotic spices, mixed with cedar oil and balms.
On the palate it is very concentrated and powerful, medium sweet, very balanced and smooth, as its leaves have a very long aftertaste with notes of tobacco, exotic woods, cedar oil and wax.
